Wayfinder is a vaguely sinister, lager-centric brewery restaurant located in the Southeast Industrial District of Portland, Oregon and is committed to making compelling and clean lagers and ales. As a primarily self-distributed brewery, we’re looking for an ambitious and experienced sales manager to continue growing our brand presence in both the local market and in select out of market regions.
Primary Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for full account base and out of market distributors
Grow business within existing accounts and customers
Solicit new business from retail accounts
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals
Assist in forecasting and inventory management
Manage sales + delivery team members
Work with leadership team to build brewing schedule
Identify, develop and execute sales initiatives and opportunities
Regularly provide updates to management and team
Command deep understanding of market dynamics
Demonstrate in depth understanding of the Wayfinder Beer’s brand, ethos and values
Maintain clear and consistent communication to ensure goals and deadlines are met
Use data to identify market opportunities to strengthen sales
Identify business issues quickly and take corrective action to minimize impact
Conduct meetings and trainings to develop, and motivate the team to ensure success
Perform all other duties as assigned

General knowledge of basic brewing practices
Qualifications
An interest and knowledge of craft beer
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in alcohol beverage industry, preferably including 3+ years of sales experience
3-5 years of management experience
Prior experience with a self-distributed brand or with a distribution company is A plus
Experience with Ekos, Quickbooks, Google Suite and/or ability to learn new platforms
Must be available to work nights and weekends when necessary
Must be 25 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must have OLCC Server’s Permit or ability to obtain upon hiring
Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds and regularly maneuver 165 pound kegs
Must currently reside in the Portland, Oregon metro or willingness to relocate immediately
