Hermosa Brewing Company is seeking a new Sales Manager with a true passion for craft beer.
The Sales Manager will report directly to the owner and is expected to devise and execute a sales strategy that encompasses our local self-distribution network along with our distributor partner.
Essential Job Functions
Develop quarterly and yearly sales goals and initiatives.
Maintain and grow self-distribution accounts in the Southbay area of Los Angeles
Align distributor sales team objectives with the brewery’s brand identity and sales plans
Identifying potential new accounts, establishing contact, and providing support for product and events as per the sales initiative
Working with production staff to develop a brewing schedule which supports retail and wholesale goals and efforts.
Head regular sales meetings with brewery staff
Observing all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of beer
Provide sales and performance reports to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Collect and report competitive market data to ownership
Participating in production forecasting, acting as a bridge between market needs and production scheduling
Proactively work with ownership to achieve company goals and address changes in the market
as they develop.
Beer sales experience preferred but not absolutely necessary
Innate sales acumen and drive
Must be able to lift 30 pounds and maneuver a 160-pound keg
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel to meet with Distributors and retailers
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must have reliable vehicle
Must be 21 or older
Highly proficient in google sheets and CRM applications
This is a full time job.
Compensation is salary plus bonuses commensurate with experience.
